Yoga Retreat in the Best Luxury Wellness Spa in Africa

How are those healthy resolutions working out for you?

If it makes you feel any better, our gym class count is embarrassingly low – the dark, cold days make it oh-so hard to get out and get motivated. We’re hoping that a Moroccan yoga retreat might help us to get back on track. Set in the heart of Marrakech, just moments from Djemaa El Fna Square but hidden away from the bustle in 20 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, the five-star hotel is the ultimate escape. And with its emphasis on mind and body, Es Saadi’s spa, home to one of only two Dior Institutes in the world, was voted ‘Best Luxury Wellness Spa in Africa’ in the 2017 World Luxury Spa Awards.

Yoga retreat

This February, in partnership with Le Tigre Yoga Club de Paris, the resort will host guests for a four-day yoga retreat with a focus on healing body and spirit in one of the most beautiful and tranquil settings in the world. The package includes two 90-minute yoga classes a day, plus free access to the Oriental Thermae and a traditional Hammam with a body scrub and massage at the Palace Spa. And the hotel’s slow food philosophy means that all meals will be not just delicious, but healthy and balanced, too. It promises to be the perfect reset.
