Gastronomic experiences in Italy

A taste of Italy.

Over the coming weeks Michelin-starred celebrity chef Fulvio Pierangelini is offering some very special gastronomic experiences to guests of three of Rocco Forte’s Italian hotels.

Starting at the Verdura Resort in Sicily later this month, there will be an opportunity to learn about olive oil: from harvesting in the hotel’s 230 acres of olive groves, through to getting stuck into the extraction of the oil at a local mill.

There will also be an opportunity to attend a special Sicilian cooking class with Fulvio. Next up, at the beginning of November, an opportunity to learn about Rome’s street food at Hotel de Russie; Fulvio will give a guided tour of the famous foodie market in Campo de’ Fiori and host a visit to one of the renowned farms and wineries along the ancient Appian Way before giving a cookery masterclass back at the hotel.

Last but not least, a truffle hunting and tasting extravaganza at Hotel Savoy, Florence. Now that’s what you call la dolce vita.
