Antonia Burrell – Facial in a Box
Since super facialist Antonia Burrell moved out of London you need to book way in advance to secure one of her coveted appointment spots at Golborne Place. The good news now is that thanks to a clever little kit you can treat yourself to (some of) the Antonia Burrell magic whenever the mood takes you.
The pack contains single use pipettes of seven of the hero products from her 100 per cent natural, organic skincare collection; rubbery cone-like facial and eye cups with which to perform Antonia’s internationally accredited Face Lift Facial technique (which is so sought after that it is now taught as part of the London College of Fashion post-graduate curriculum); plus a luxurious Egyptian cotton face cloth and step-by-step instructions. Yes, it’s a DIY job, unless you have an obliging friend or other half, but I found it fairly straightforward (having watched a video of the AB cupping technique online before starting), and the smell of the products transported me directly to the treatment room – in spirit at least.
Afterwards my skin felt amazing, and it looked even better the next morning. Best of all, people remarked on how well I was looking that day. I’ve since invested in a bottle of the Radiant Light Facial Oil Serum and have become somewhat addicted to the cupping massage, which is easy to perform while watching the telly (even if I do look faintly ridiculous doing so – thanks hubby).
