Sunny side up

If the recent fair weather has whetted your appetite for the sunny stuff, why not use this oh-so-worthy (and suitably sparkling) event as an excuse to skip across the channel to warmer climes?

25th of this month sees The Climate Group celebrate their 10th anniversary with a super special fundraising gala at Monte Carlo’s Hôtel de Paris. Held under the high patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco, no less, a three-course dinner prepared by Michelin starred Chef Franck Cerutti will be followed by entertainment from London songstress Paloma Faith. But, beyond the sunshine and a nice bit of yacht-spotting, what we’re really waiting for is the exclusive auction, overseen by Sotheby’s Lord Harry Dalmeny, which will include such bucket-list-worthy prizes as a week at Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island, Picasso linocuts and a private piano lesson with Jamie Cullum.

Tickets are available now, but if you really can’t tear yourself away from sunny, sunny London, absentee bids are accepted. Frankly, though, we’ll be making like Grace Kelly and, um, going to Monaco…
