As the weather heats up, our thoughts are turning to ice cream, and no ordinary Magnum will do. This summer we’ve gone a little bit dippy for Pierre Marcolini’s new Summer Breeze collection.
The do it yourself ice cream counter at the Marylebone boutique offers customers the chance to pick their favourite lolly flavour, and then have it dipped in one of six signature chocolate dips. We think the new luscious coconut ice cream goes particularly well with the dark chocolate and chocolate nibs (call it a posh Bounty, if you will), but caramel with milk chocolate roasted hazelnut and fleur de sel comes a close second.
And if soft scoop is more your thing, the Frissons selection of tubs will be hard to resist. How does rose petal ice cream with raspberry coulis, Garrigues honey and roasted pistachios sound? Definitely gives the humble 99 a run for its money.
