Mix this: Fire Bar’s Spiced Hemptation

There’s a chill in the air and the days are getting depressingly short. While the festivities might not be upon us quite yet, you can still fire up dreary nights with a warming, spicy drink that’s guaranteed to add a little drama after dark. Our new favourite spot come Cocktail O’clock has to be Mayfair‘s Fire Bar, where the team have real flair when it comes to mixing creative drinks.

Cocktail of the Month this November is Spiced Hemptation, an autumnal creation made with Dead Man’s Fingers Hemp Spiced Rum, orange liqueur, Broughton Ginger Syrup, lemon juice and pineapple juice. It’s available until the end of the month, priced at £10, but if the weather is truly too terrible to contemplate venturing into town, we’ve been given the low down on how to mix it at home. And if that doesn’t get you into the spirit of things, we’re not sure what will.

Spiced Hemptation

Ingredients:

  • 40ml Dead Man’s Fingers Hemp Spiced Rum
  • 15ml Orange Liqueur
  • 20ml Broughton Ginger Syrup
  • 15ml lemon juice
  • 50ml pineapple juice

Instructions:

  1. Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice
  2. Shake well and pour
  3. Garnish with a star anise.
