London Cocktail Week Kicks off at The Madison

Did Someone Say Cocktails?

Broken Shaker

Who ever thought of dedicating a whole week just to cocktails? Someone we would probably like to be friends with, that’s who. The first week of October marks the celebration of all things bubbly, fruity and extravagant. Where best to celebrate it other than at one of the most iconic venues in London – Madison London in St Pauls – looking out at the breathtaking views and holding a handcrafted cocktail courtesy of The Broken Shaker. Yes that’s right, the globe-hopping mixologists are coming to London in celebration of cocktail week and setting up shop for four nights at the best rooftop in the city.

London on the Rocks

Washed up fresh from the shores of Miami Beach and currently ranked at 18th on “The World’s 50 Best Bars” list, The Broken Shaker is known for its fiery fun with a rustic edge. Think fairy lights, bamboo chairs and most importantly, amazing cocktails. Their signature style will be mixed up with the dazzling backdrop of London’s skyline, concocting the perfect destination for post-work party goers. Madison London promises The Broken Shaker will be “bringing a flavour of Miami to the Square Mile” and the two bars are collaborating to give you some of their most sizzling creations yet. Broken Shaker’s cocktail connoisseur, Bobby Eldridge will be present to showcase their renowned mixes.

Cocktail Crazy

The menu ranges from refreshing bursts of citrus and coconut, to rich, indulgent chocolate numbers. Crafted from local ingredients as well as worldwide flavours, these cocktails are made to impress. Just some of the fabulous drinks on offer include the Lion’s Club, a grapefruit getaway infused with garden shrub. Or how about the Coco-nut Case? An excitement of Olmeca Altos Plata Tequila, Koko Kanu, fresh lime, kaffir agave and a sun-kissed sea salt rim, certain to transport us straight to the Florida Coast.

Guests looking to satisfy their more classic taste buds will also be able to enjoy some of Madison’s timeless treats. Such as Sancho’s Special, a perfected blend of tequila, vanilla and grapefruit, or the Fair and Square: an enchantment of peanut butter-washed Bulleit Rye, dark chocolate-infused Hennessy, red Vermouth, Benedictine and bitters.

This can all only mean one thing, we’ve died and gone straight to cocktail heaven. Join us there Tuesday 2nd October – Friday 5th October and for more details visit https://www.madisonlondon.net/event/broken-shaker-at-madison/ .
