Theatre: The Outsider (L’Étranger)

14 Sep-13 Oct | Print Room at the Coronet

Many will already know The Outsider, Albert Camus’ 1942 absurdist tale of the human condition, in which a man who doesn’t fit society’s norms commits a murder.

The Booker Prize-winning author Ben Okri’s adaptation of this pillar of modern literature is the first major UK production of the story and is performed in the intimate surroundings of the Coronet’s Print Room.

Expect profound philosophical themes and lashings of wry humour.
