Not familiar with Carousel? Where have you been? Opened in 2014, the three-storey building on Marylebone’s Blandford Street features a first floor gallery and event space, along with a ground floor restaurant and courtyard terrace. Lunch service is led by head chef, co-founder and Young British Foodie finalist Ollie Templeton and his team, who offer a weekly-changing, seasonally-inspired menu. And come the evening, a programme of ongoing collaborations showcase culinary talent from around the world. We’re excited about this month’s residency from north London girl Olia Hercules. Celebrating the release of her second book, Kaukasis The Cookbook, her menu will offer a taste of Azerbaijan, Georgia and beyond, with inventive twists on authentic dishes such as Khachapuri, a Georgian cheese-filled bread, and Dyushbara, a dish of traditional Azerbaijani dumplings.
