16 Jun-4 Nov | V&A | Frida Kahlo
She’s a feminist symbol, an iconic artist and instantly recognisable for those eyebrows, but above all, more than 60 years after her death, Frida Kahlo continues to captivate us with her artwork.
And now, as the first exhibition outside of Mexico, the V&A has curated more than 200 of her personal items.
From her eyebrow pencil still in its original packaging to those distinctive Tehuana garments, the exhibition explores the artist’s unmistakable appearance and style.
Displayed alongside film, photography and her own artwork, Kahlo’s compelling life story is not to be missed.
