Latest issue
Fitter, calmer, smarter, sleeker… which of those would you like to be? All of them? Well, let us show you how. Our latest issue is all about reinvention. Your body, your outlook… whatever it is you’d like to tweak/change/radically overhaul, our feature should provide you with the inspiration.
The reinvention theme runs through our latest pages, from lovely bathrooms in which to pamper and preen the new you, to beautifying tips for the man in your life and the essential workout kit.
We’ve also got news from the foodie capital, including a restaurant where you choose the decor (sounds terribly 21st century, doesn’t it?) and an olde-worlde tea shoppe in deepest Highgate.
And, of course, some rather lovely homes to buy and rent from the Fabric agents.
Fabric, July 2008 issue, Charlize Theron
‘You can’t fit into a lot of worlds wearing John Galliano or Dior dresses,’ says July’s cover star Charlize Theron. In our exclusive interview the South African born beauty tells us all about how she keeps it real in the fantasy land that is Hollywood. Read all about it in our July issue.
Our July issue (on all good doormats and in all good newsagents now) also rounds up summers prettiest sun dresses courtesy of Stephanie King – Pucci on the beach, what a winning combination! – along with a lovely selection of swimwear from Figleaves and a piece about Glamour Guides, who will organise extremely upmarket sample sales in your own home.
Our Food section this month is full of culinary delights including Food Inc at Whiteley’s and your chance to win a kit for making frozen margaritas. Take it from us, one isn’t enough, nor are three!
Green goddesses will like our piece about walkit.com a brand new website that tells you not only the most foot-friendly route from A to B but also how much CO2 you’ll save by going on Shank’s Pony.
All this, plus, of course a fine selection of homes to buy and rent from the Fabric agents.

Fabric, June 2008, Audrey Tautou
She makes a pretty hot Fabric cover star, but Audrey Tautou can be somewhat reticent about talking to journalists. ‘I do my work for the film and after that I try not even to exist for the press,’ says the elfin one. Fortunately for us, she was slightly more forthcoming. Read it all our June issue.
But enough about La Tautou. How are you? Ready for your bikini close-up? The Fabric ladies are currently just saying no to chocolate and crisps (most of the time) in an effort to look beach perfect, (I’m on the trunk workout: alcohol-free days and plenty of running.) If you haven’t started your pre-holiday shape-up, worry not. This month we’ve got plenty of ideas for workouts, beauty treats and essential beachwear. We’ve also tracked down London’s best pedicures so you’ll look fabulous from top to toe.
We’ve also eaten our way around NW1 and are now pretty sure that Camden is London’s next culinary hotspot – check out our reviews and see if you agree. And if you know of any gems we should try, please let us know.
Our interview this month is with the pixily divine Audrey Tautou. Find out what we learnt about France’s other first lady in our exclusive feature.
And, of course, some of the loveliest homes to buy and rent here in town, further afield and overseas.
Enjoy the issue.
And there’s still time (just) to get your nominations in for the Fabric Awards 2008. Just tell us your favourite London shops, restaurants, services and more and we’ll enter you into our prize draw to win a swanky dinner for you and nine friends. For full details click on the Awards box on the home page.
