Gaelic grazing at Albannach

We don’t know about you, but sometimes, when we go out, we don’t want a WHOLE haggis. Which is why we were interested to hear of Albannach’s new tapas-sized dishes. The Scottish Selection features dishes such as smoked mackerel paté, Arbroath smoked haddock and potato croquettes, oat-crusted kedgeree bites and that haggis either as a filling for tortellini and served with mushroom cream or as a stuffing for roasted baby squid. The Scottish Selection dishes cost £5.50 each, or £15 for 3, £20 for 5.

Kidspace opens in Sloane Street

Luxury children’s clothing store Kidspace has just opened in Sloane Street, offering a high-end shopping destination for babies to teenagers.

Laid out across two floors, the look is luxe with sequinned lamps, leather mosaic-patterned walls in white, grey and silver, a dramatic Swarovski crystal chandelier on each floor, plus a dedicated VIP area. The collections – including clothing, footwear, hat, belts, bags and swimwear – are all made in Italy by the Spazio Sei fashion group, famous for its glamorous, easy-to-wear take on fashion for kids.

The store’s apparently been quite a hit with celebs, including Tanya Bryer, Davinia Taylor and Bella Freud, and  Johnny Depp’ s a big fan – so why don’t you pop along and see what all the fuss is about.
